« The MAÎTRISE DE LA CATHÉDRALE singers », as part of Soirées Autrement at the cathedral, Sunday August 13 at 9:00 pm.

On the eve of the Solemnity of the Assumption, Chartres Cathedral’s Maîtrise choir will kick off the day with a concert of great works from the sacred music repertoire, including Marian pieces.
Works of Mozart, Bach, Caccini and Gregorian hymns.

 

FROM SILENCE TO MUSIC – EVERY SUNDAY / 9:00 pm The cathedral is a place for meditation and for lively music. The evening will be immersed in musical atmosphere. The artists look for places attuned to their sensibility, they pause for meditation. Far from a concert ambience, they cause the cathedral to vibrate in a different way…
