Celebrations

The cathedral is a place where mass is celebrated several times a day.
Sometimes, on the occasion of multiple pilgrimages, Masses are celebrated one after the other as well as rosaries (particularly in September, October, May and June).

Every weekday, two appointments are proposed: at 11:45 a.m. in the crypt, and at 6:15 p.m. in the cathedral for the celebration of the holy sacrifice of the mass. The Eucharist at 6:15 p.m. is followed by the prayer of vespers led by the Chemin Neuf Community.

Every first Saturday of the month the rosary is prayed in front of the veil of Mary with the brotherhood that watches over the holy relic. It is followed by mass at 6:00 pm.

Sundays: at 9:00 a.m. (the so-called “Gregorian” mass), at 11:00 a.m. – the mass is often animated by the choir (there are about forty women, men and children), and at 6:00 p.m. (6:30 p.m. in the summer, a more soberly animated mass). It is preceded by the office of vespers.

According to the liturgical time, other services are celebrated: prayer for the sick (some Sunday afternoons), itinerant rosary (especially in July and August at 9:00 pm)
