Thu. 23 May. / ConcertThe Highlands Youth Ensemble, made up of talented students from northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia, is renowned for its masterful a cappella interpretation of a demanding four-part Soprano-Alto-Tenor-Bass repertoire. Under the enlightened direction of Jane DeLoach Morison, the group promises an enchanting performance.
The program includes a specially commissioned work to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings, as well as a selection of sacred and secular pieces in English and French.

Current Artistic Director of the Highlans Youth Ensemble, Jane DeLoach Morison, has directed the East Tennessee Children’s Choir since 2007, and was appointed Artistic Director in 2009.
