Concert by the Chartres Symphony Orchestra, Saturday September 28

As part of the 1000-year jubilee of the Crypt of Chartres Cathedral, the Orchestre Symphonique de Chartres will perform at Notre-Dame de Chartres Cathedral on Saturday, September 28 at 8:30pm.

Conducted by Fabrice Héricourt, the orchestra will open with Gioachino Rossini’s Overture to The Barber of Seville, followed by Carl Maria von Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No. 2 with soloist Jean-Luc Grare (clarinet).
In the second half, Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.
