For centuries, men and women, believers and non-believers alike, have been making pilgrimages to Notre-Dame de Chartres Cathedral.
They carry in their hearts a special intention, a thank you or a request for forgiveness. Attracted by the cathedral’s spires, they approach this holy place where the Virgin Mary is honored.
We invite you to become pilgrims in your own right. Take a stroll through the crypt and, guided by one of our guides, discover a place where you can feel a certain intimacy that opens the door to interiority.
Meet every day before 2pm at the cathedral’s boutique* to pick up a ticket (* boutique at the entrance to the cathedral, on the left as you enter through the royal portal).
