Chartres Cathedral has a sales stand to meet the varied expectations of visitors. It is managed by the diocese of Chartres and agreed by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
Located inside one of the towers, it does not detract from the atmosphere of prayer that prevails in the building.
It is also the place where tickets for public visits are sold, and the meeting point for these visits.
Opening hours of the sales stand in the cathedral:
– Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
– Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and1:30 pm to 6:00 pm
– Sunday: 12:00 to 1:15 pm, and 1:45 pm to 6:00 pm
