Heritage Days - Cathedral tours on September 16 and 17

For the Journées du Patrimoine and as every year, the cathedral welcomes you and offers free tours led by by guides from the Cathedral Visitor Service:

Saturday September 16: at 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm – duration 1 hour
Sunday September 17: at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 pm – duration 1 hour

These tours, in French only, are entirely free of charge!
Please go to the store in the cathedral (map here) to collect your ticket.
Our guides will be wearing blue scarves.

No visits to the crypt on these days.

A World Heritage Site, Chartres Cathedral has preserved its 176 stained glass windows (most of which date from the mid-12th and early 13th centuries) and 9 sculpted portals.
