Nativity scenes have been set up in each church as well as in your homes. This is a way to mark your desire to welcome the Lord through prayer, through acts of charity toward others, and especially toward the poor.
At the Chartres cathedral, in collaboration with the Church, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) has prepared a special gift for the Advent and Christmas season: a spectacular light display on the sculpted ensemble around the choir, depicting scenes from Joseph’s Dream to the Massacre of the Innocents, with a stop at The Nativity.
This display will take place daily from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 7:20 pm.
Come and see it, invite your friends!
